Why we Joined: What a fun way to lose weight and lose it with a support partner...even if they live far, far away. Many people do not have family or friends near them, so we would like to show others that there are fun and unique ways of creating a support system. Sometimes it has to be creative, but that is what makes it so much fun!

Why We Should Win:
So we can cheer on the couples and show support for their achievments and especially to be brave enough to do it on TV. WAY TO GO "LOSERS".

Plan For Success:
Our plan for success is to support each other with email, chatting and phone calls which makes us accountable. Follow the advice of the professionals of what we should be eating and learing how to "read the label".

As I go day by day, I realize that being organized and prepared is HUGE!  The days that I am short on groceries or do not take the time to plan our meals, are the days that I end up not staying on course and getting very frustrated.  These are the days weight loss seems hopeless!  I am working really hard to keep track of my food and what I am eating.  Weight Watchers has been a big help with that too and going to the meetings and being accountable to someone else's scale.  If I wrtie down what I am going to eat for the day either in the morning or the night before, I pretty much stay with my list and stay true.  If it is not on the list I just don't eat it.

I have to vent my frustration! I WISH I COULD GET THROUGH A WORKOUT WITHOUT ONE OF THE KIDS NEEDING SOMETHING!

It is Sunday and I am getting food together for the week.  Of course, I need to make a trip to the grocery store but it is closed on Sunday so I am struggling to come up with good ideas.  Friday night I went to a Soup and Pie party.  What a bad idea for someone trying to lose weight.  Knowing that it was going to be nothing but junk food, I took a bunch of fresh vegetables and a fat free veggie dip.  Surprisingly alot of people opted to eat the veggies instead of just me.  It helped that there was another gal there also on the weight watchers plan.  Overall, I did pretty good.  I did eat some of the chicken noodle soup and had a tiny piece of chocolate pie.

My exercising is going pretty good.  I am staying consistant and at least making time to do it.  My excuse is always that I don't have time.  I am getting to the point where I need to come first. ( I should make that a goal) Another one of those head games.  Of course, I would love to make it through one workout with one of the girls interupting me.  It never fails that there is some crisis that can only be fixed by me......where in the world is your Dad?  haha.  TTFN

I have had quite a bit of success this past week.  I have been cooking and eating really healthy, eating more appropriate portions and have started walking at work.  I am determined to not only live more of a healthier life style, but to also teach my children to live healthier, as well.  A big topic in my house has been healthy portion sizes.  We were not surprised to find that we are eating larger portions than recommended.  BUT, we are absolutely amazed to find how much larger our portions sizes are compared to the recommended.  It is really going to take a different mindset in order to cut down on portion sizes, but we are all trying.  That is the first step!

Day 6 - Aimee

I have been thinking about the show on Tuesday and it was a little disappointing that the teams did not lose more weight. I wonder if the fact that Bob and Jillian teamed up had anything to do with it? Anyway....at least they are still losing. The past couple of days have been pretty good. I had a meeting today and afterwards we went to Apple-bee's. I had the Weight Watchers shrimp skewers with rice and steamed broccoli. The other four people had greasy junky stuff. I was very proud of my decision. This morning I was up at 5:10 and walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes to start my day. TTFN
